Rolls Royce, one of the biggest names in British engineering, is cutting 9,000 jobs.
The company, whose main business is to make aircraft engines, has warned that it will take several years for the industry to recover from the effects of coronavirus.
Thousands of Rolls Royce employees have already been reinvigorated as part of the government’s support scheme. But he says the company is dealing with unprecedented conditions.
