Reading the horror blows known to MI5 – BBC News

The man arrested on suspicion of killing three people in an attack on a reading park came from Libya and was known as MI5. Khairi Saadallah, 25, turned his attention to the security service last year, but it was not an “immediate danger.” The attack took place in the Forbury Gardens, Reading on Saturday evening. The suspect was arrested at the scene. Police later carried out an attack on a set of houses in the village. One of the dead has been named James Furlong, a 36-year-old teacher. He has been described by his family as a wonderful, handsome, and intelligent man. Mishal Husain has presented at BBC News from Home correspondent Daniel Sandford and home editor Mark Easton.
