PORTLAND, Oregon – Jaroslav Nezgoda and Deron Asprilla scored in the second half as the Portland Timbers came from behind to defeat the San Jose Earthquakes 2-1 Saturday night at Providence Park and extend Portland’s unbeaten streak to seven games in a row.

71′ – GOAL (BUR) – Timbers netted the green lead when Santiago Moreno spied on Asprilla hiding on the back post. Moreno sent the ball onto a plate for Asprilla to jump high and head to the right to lead a 2-1 lead for Portland.

87′ – Chance (Bur) – In the other direction, Claudio Bravo pulled a cross to Felipe Mora inside the six-yard area to click into the tire which saved Marcinkowski.

89′ – Save (Bur) – Ivacic extends to his right to get a touch only as SJ’s Espinosa tries to push the ball off the post before the Portland defense clears it.
