Two years ago, a 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck Turkey’s third largest province, which is located on the Aegean coast, killing 117 people. Ayda, who lost her mother Fidan Keskin Gezkin in the wreckage of Reza Bey’s apartment, which was destroyed in the earthquake of October 30, 2020, in Izmir, was rescued by search and rescue teams, and continues her life with her father Ugur and brother Atkan Gezkin. Aida, whom all the people of Turkey watched with tears of joy when she was rescued 91 hours after the earthquake, is greeted with the same care and love, even though it has been two years since the earthquake.
