Amazon News struggling to survive indigenous forest – BBC News
Indigenous people living in the Amazon rainforest fear survival because they are threatened, as more and more trees are cut down to make way for agriculture and farming. They say the new Brazilian president wants to allow deforestation in 700 protected areas within the Brazilian jungle – which cover more than a tenth of Brazil’s total territory.
