A senator who lost his legs in Iraq has backed Fox News host

Democratic Sen. Tammy Duckworth, a U.S. Army veteran who lost both legs while serving in Iraq, was attacked by a conservative Fox News host who attacked Tucker Carlson and proposed that he hate America. “Does @TuckerCarlson want to walk a mile on one leg and then tell me whether I love America or not?” Duckworth wrote on Twitter. Duckworth was awarded the Purple Heart Award in 2004 after he lost his legs when he was hit by a helicopter co-piloting the Iraq War. Duckworth later retired from the Illinois National Guard as a lieutenant colonel and served as assistant secretary to the Department of Veterans Affairs in the Obama administration. #FoxNews #CNN #News.
