Chronic failure of the health system in the eastern Cape of South Africa has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Key workers are on strike or sick in Covid-19 and sick babies die in overflowing and sick babies. A BBC investigation is predicting the provincial health system, doctors and nurses said they are tired of. A doctor called it an “epic failure of a broken system”.
