Hub residents interact with the morning earthquake

Jackson, Tin – the area's earthquake was hit earlier today, with the tremors it felt all over the region.

According to the geographical survey of the United States, Madison Province witnessed a 2.6 -East Jackson earthquake.

We talked to a resident who was close to the earthquake center when that happened.

“Maybe around 10:30 am, we heard a loud boom,” Sarah said. “I necessarily did not necessarily feel, but immediately I got a text from one of my colleagues in Jackson, and he also felt something and wanted to know where we were.”

Many West Teennesseans shared their reactions in light of our Facebook post. One person stated that they heard a high boom and could feel their home.

He said: “Oh yes, it is very surprising in Jackson to have an earthquake of this size, so that people really feel it, so this is exciting but it is also scary at the same time, as you know, because many people have never experienced earthquakes.” Ashley Davis.

There were also many residents who were not aware of the earthquake.

“I am surprised by everything,” said Christian Malamz. “I am very happy, I did not feel it, I was afraid of my life.”

According to the Madison Sharif provincial office, there were no reports of injuries or severe damage.
