Salvation men gathered before heading to the areas affected by the earthquake, in the city of Dengchi, northwest of Gansu Province, September 27, 2025.

The 5.6 earthquake struck the Longxi Province in Gansu Province on Saturday, which resulted in six slight injuries and damage to more than 100 buildings, according to official reports.

The earthquake, which occurred at 5:49 am local time, focuses on a 10 km shallow depth, near the village of Xianrinwin in Winfing. After the tremor, the Gansu fire and rescue administration activated the emergency response protocol.
