This month marks 90 years since one of the most devastating seismic events on record occurred in Montana. For months, Helena was shaken. Hundreds of buildings and homes were destroyed, and four people died as a result. MTN takes a deeper look into the history of that fateful fall during the Great Depression, and we speak with some of the last remaining Helenians who can remember the event and look at the science behind why the tremors caused so much damage.
