Reading the locks: Police consider the three murders a horrific incident – BBC News

Police have described the stabbing attack in Reading as a “terrorist incident”, killing three people. A 25-year-old man from Reading was arrested at the scene of the attack around 7pm on Saturday, which also seriously injured three people. Neil Basu, assistant commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, in charge of the counter-terrorism police, said: “This was a cruelty.” He said police found “nothing to suggest that anyone else was involved.” Security sources told the BBC they believe the arrested man is a Libyan.
