The latest 24-hour data from the UK show that there have been 34 deaths associated with Covid-19. Another daily increase was recorded among people who gave 6,874 positives. The UK “R” or playback number has risen between 1.2 and 1.5. The number R shows the average number that each person with Covid infects and when it exceeds a number the virus can spread at an exponential rate.
