FAO, RES and WHO launch new online training on navigation with the Guide to Tripartite Zoonoses (TZG)
Zoonotic diseases can globally affect the health of humans, animals, the environment, farms and health systems. Countries must be prepared to detect, prevent and respond to these new and endemic diseases.
Tripartite organizations (FAO, OIE and WHO) have launched a guide entitled ‘Taking a multisectoral, single health approach: a tripartite guide to tackling zoonotic diseases in countries‘, TZG, to support countries in tackling zoonotic diseases. It provides principles, best practices and opportunities to help countries achieve sustainable and functional cooperation at the human-animal-environmental interface.
