China Lake – a landmark opening ceremony held on October 15 in the magazines and idle storage facility, the China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station officially commenced the first phase of construction for the $ 2.3 billion earthquake recovery program to restore full mission capacity to NAWS China Lake and naval air warfare Center’s weapons division.

Timothy Caber, who served as President of Ceremonies, was followed by remarks from the vice president of Reyes Construction Inc. Ricardo Jimenez is Executive Officer of Naval Ordnance Command, Pacific, US Western. Lenteisa Hill, with closing statements by Capt. Scott.

“On behalf of the NMCPAC CONUS West Division, we are extremely pleased that this critical infrastructure project is on its way to be a full tour as we say in the Navy,” Hill said. “When we experienced this tragedy last year, it was necessary to rebuild in a fast way that ensures that what we lost is replaced in order to continue our mission.”

Among the participants in the first ceremonial was Captain Scott, Capt. NAWS China Lake CO, Captain Jeremy Vaughan, the captain. Hill, director of China Lake Naval Munitions Command Detachment David Pearcefield, Ridgecrest City Director Ron Strand, and Mr. Jimenez.
