Sunday evening, authorities in Lauderhill, Florida, responded to a report of a car that had broken into a canal. Pictures taken by firefighting units at the scene about 30 miles north of Miami showed rescuers searching for what appeared to be flooded water near a parking lot.

A spokesman for Lauderhill Fire said in a statement that firefighters pulled someone from a car and took the patient, who was in critical condition, to hospital. The agency said that respondents continue to search for others.

ETA was subjected to maximum winds of 65 mph Sunday night and was centered about 30 miles east-northeast from Marathon, Florida, and 70 miles east northeast of Key West. The storm was moving from west to northwest at 14 mph.

Astronauts arrive to launch the SpaceX crew

Four astronauts arrived at the Kennedy Space Center on Sunday to launch the second SpaceX crew, which will arrive next weekend.
