According to Shahi, 307 families in Manthali have signed a housing reconstruction assistance agreement with the National Reconstruction Authority that has not started rebuilding their homes.

The government distributes the second installment (Rs 150,000) of housing aid to those who have completed establishing their new homes after receiving the first payment (Rs 50,000). Designated beneficiaries are entitled to Rs 300,000 in housing assistance. The final batch of 100,000 rupees will be distributed later, according to the National Reconstruction Authority.
