High-resolution images of the sun taken by NASA’s space-based telescopes have been released by the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO). The telescope captured a high-resolution image of the sun every 12 seconds with ten wavelengths of invisible UV light, each wavelength highlighting a different temperature and assigning color. The images show several active regions of the sun, which typically produce solar storms. This video has been speeding up from the original meter released by Nasa
