Utah residents are still feeling aftershocks after a 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck last month.

A 4.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 7:41 am local time on Thursday. It hit 2.5 miles northeast of Magna and was 5.9 miles deep, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The town of Magna, southwest of Salt Lake City, experienced a 5.7 magnitude earthquake on March 18. The University of Utah seismic stations said the earthquake, which occurred on Thursday, as well as a 4.17 earthquake on Tuesday, was part of a series of aftershocks for Magna.

The organization said that more aftershocks are expected in the coming weeks and should become less frequent.

The Guam 911 internal security and civil defense offices reported that there were no reports of damage or injuries caused by the earthquake.
