Germany has worked hard at calling it “Vergangenheitsbewaeltigung” or overcoming the past.

There are strict laws against hate crimes. However, the city of Chemnitz saw threats of interference in August and the previous week’s similar but smaller Koeth’s march.

Furthermore, it is the official opposition party of the AFD Bundestag against immigrants with 92 MPs. They deny being linked to extremists, but we have spoken to a right-wing leader who thinks he is opening the door for his views.

Channel 4 News requested an interview with AFD, but was unable to provide it to anyone. The AFD states that they have nothing to do with extreme right-wing extremities or neo-Nazis.

However, Chancellor Merkel and her coalition-social coalition partners have been very harsh in their criticism of the type of anti-immigration language used by the AFD. The next big test for AFD will be the Bavarian autonomous elections, and the AFD CSU is stepping on the feet of the ruler.

This film shows how many figures speak to the public and how much they gain.

This film covers a number of issues that may be offensive. .
