The United States Geological Survey reported a 3.4-magnitude earthquake in the United States near Tonopah, Nye County, Nevada, just 28 minutes ago. The earthquake struck early in the morning of Monday, March 29, 2021 at 3:38 a.m. local time at a depth of 4.2 miles, very shallow. The exact size, focus and depth of an earthquake may be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and improve their calculations, or when other agencies release their report.
