Coronavirus: Spain eases blockade measures to allow outside children – BBC News

Restrictions on movement in Spain, one of the countries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic, will allow children who are away for the first time in six weeks.

Spain has experienced one of the most severe blockades in Europe, but the government hopes to step up measures to allow them to exercise abroad.

On Sunday, the country reported the lowest number of deaths from March 20 to 288. The health ministry said the death toll was 23,190.

Kate Walder, who lives in Madrid, filmed her family under lock and key for 42 days inside.
