Adirondack Winery is seeking to raise $ 12,000 throughout October to benefit Adirondack’s progress in breast cancer by the American Cancer Society, which provides support services to patients fighting the disease.

Craft wine producers will donate a portion of almost all sales during October to the American Cancer Society’s Adirondack Advances in Breast Cancer. Adirondack provides support services to patients fighting the disease. It is the ninth year that the winery has hosted a fundraising activity.
“In the nine years since we raised money, we have spoken to many customers and employees who have been directly affected by breast cancer,” Sasha Paddy, president of Adirondack Winery, said in a statement.
“In addition to giving us the opportunity to raise money for a very valuable purpose, Drink Pink gathers behind people in the community who need our support and we are in their corner. It’s your chance to let them know you’re in. We’ll do this for them, “she said.
Last year’s campaign raised $ 11,000.
During the fundraising activity, the winery will offer a variety of specialty products such as the limited edition “Drink Pinkberry Breeze” and mixed berry rosé. Also available is the ADK Hoody Plate, a pink version of the winery with locally made cheese, chocolate, crusher and marshmallows infused with wine.
