Gwent’s intensive care capacity could increase nearly three-fold when the new Grange Hospital opens, giving reassurance to possible events in the second wave of Covid-19.

There are currently 22 emergency beds in ABU HB. 16 are at Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport and 8 are at Neville Hall Hospital in Abergavenny.
