785 new COVID-19 cases, no new deaths. 200 patients currently hospitalized with the virus
Salt Lake City, Utah – Utah Department of Health reported 785 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday with no new deaths.
Currently, 200 patients are hospitalized with the virus. 102 hospitalized are in the intensive care unit. 96 patients are also hospitalized as COVID-19 under investigation.
According to UDOH, hospitals in Utah occupy 50.5% of all non-ICU beds and 65.1% of all ICU beds.
The 7-day rolling average of positive tests is 637 per day, which is 10% of the tests. The state has issued a total of 462,822 tests.
So far, Utah has 34,117 positive cases, 2,033 hospitalizations and 243 deaths.
The state considers 20,915 patients have recovered. That is, these Utahns had a positive diagnosis more than 3 weeks ago and did not die.
