The price of fuel for aviation turbines increased by 3 pc; no change in LPG, petrol, diesel tariffs

The price of gasoline has not changed for over a month.

On Saturday, the price of jet fuel or ATF was increased by 3%, the fifth consecutive increase in two months, while there was no change in the rates of cooking gas LPG, gasoline and diesel.

Aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices have risen from Rs 1,304.25 per kiloliter or 3% in the national capital to Rs 43,932.53 per kl, according to a price notification from state oil companies.

The price of ATF was last increased by 1.5 percent or Rs 635.47 per kl on July 16. This was the fifth consecutive increase since June. In four increases, the tariffs increased by Rs 22,483.91 per kl.

Fares rose a record 56.6% (12,126.75 rupees per kl) on June 1, followed by an increase of 5,494.5 rupees per kl (16.3%) on June 16. .

ATF prices are revised on the 1st and 16th of each month on the basis of the average of the international reference price and the exchange rate of the previous fortnight.

Gasoline and diesel prices, revised daily, remained unchanged on Saturday.

The price of gasoline has not changed for over a month. It has been selling for Rs 80.43 per liter in the nation’s capital since June 29.

Diesel, on the other hand, has seen sporadic price revisions. It currently sells for Rs 73.56 per liter in the national capital.

The price of gasoline increased by Rs 9.17 per liter between June 7 and June 29, while diesel prices increased by Rs 12.55 per liter since June 7.

Cooking gas prices were also unchanged on Saturday.

Tariffs for non-subsidized LPG cooking gas were last revised on July 1, when prices increased by 1 Re to 594 rupees per 14.2 kg cylinder in the nation’s capital.

This increase reversed a downward trend in four-month rates. Prices had gone from Rs 858.50 in February to Rs 593 in June – Rs 265.5 in all.

Unsubsidized LPG is a cooking gas that a consumer purchases after having exhausted his quota of 12 bottles of 14.2 kg at subsidized rates.
