The county adds two COVID-19 deaths.Now at 130 tolls
Hancock County — The state reported Friday that residents of two more counties had died from the new coronavirus.
Both were over 80 years old. One was a man and the other was a woman. One died on February 20, and the other died on February 21, according to information from the Indiana Department of Health.
The dead raised the county’s COVID-19 death toll to 130.
Hancock County added seven proceedings on Friday, increasing the total to 7,399. In another 377 tests, the amount was 84,352.
Indiana has added 33 deaths, for a total increase to 12,098. 963 cases, total 660,071 cases. And with 40,541 new tests, the total is nearly 8 million.
As of early Friday, 13,665 Hancock County residents had been vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine for the first time, and 7,899 had been fully vaccinated. Throughout the state, 963,225 people were first dosed and 531,962 were fully vaccinated.
