US to continue technical talks with Iran despite new strikes

The United States will engage in “technical talks” with Iran and remains committed to finding a solution to the conflict, despite airstrikes by both countries in recent days, MS Now reported Thursday, citing a US official.
The official said President Donald Trump had made his position clear and called Iranian attacks on commercial ships “acts of terrorism,” according to MS Now.
The comments come after Trump, at the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, declared the ceasefire with Iran “over.”
The memorandum of understanding between the two countries is based on performance, and Iran’s actions constitute “a failure on an unacceptable level,” the US official told MS Now, adding that negotiations with Tehran would continue.
The ceasefire signed last month has come under strain in recent days, with US and Iranian forces carrying out strikes this week. “I don’t want to deal with them [Iran] more,” Trump said at the NATO summit.
Returning from the summit, Trump said Iran had called for a deal to end the escalation of hostilities in the Middle East. “They called a little while ago. They want to make a deal so badly. I just don’t know if they deserve to make a deal. I don’t know if they’re going to honor the deal. That’s the problem,” he said.
Iranian officials accused the United States of failing to honor the memorandum of understanding, citing violation of “Iranian adjustments” in the Strait of Hormuz, “persistent threats of further strikes” and the reinstatement of oil sanctions.
The US military has carried out new rounds of offensive strikes against Iran in retaliation for the attack on three commercial ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz. The US Treasury Department later withdrew a waiver that allowed Iran to sell its oil.
Oil prices were slightly lower on Friday in Asian trading, with global benchmark Brent crude futures for September delivery falling to $76.3 a barrel while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell to $71.87.

Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless.
