Jokowi to 'erase' simultaneous 2024 regional elections in Gambir TPS, Jakarta
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will exercise his right to vote in the 2024 regional elections (Pilkada) in the Jakarta Special Region. Jokowi plans to vote at a polling station in Gambir Village, south of Jakarta city.
This was revealed after the data matching and search process (coklit) of the Election Data Update Committee (Pantarlih) at the State Palace, Wednesday (24/7/2024). This activity was also attended by the Head of the Presidential Secretariat who is also the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono, KPU Commissioner Betty Epsilon Idroos, DKI Jakarta KPU Chairman Wahyu Dinata, and DKI Jakarta KPU Member Fahmi Zikrillah.
“The KPUD of DKI Jakarta and accompanied by the KPU of the Republic of Indonesia, and earlier Ms. Febi as a Pantarlih officer, met with the President and provided data matching and provided a form. She registered as a voter in DKI Jakarta,” Heru told reporters.
Today is the last deadline for the coklit process. This activity was carried out to update voter data before voting in the regional elections next November.
On this occasion, Betty said that the family card (KK) registered two voters who would exercise their right to vote. This was also verified through the coklit process by Pantarlih agents.
“In a Pak Jokowi KK, there are two voters who will exercise their right to vote. (already) in accordance with the KK in the documents they have and completely in accordance with the voter list held by the KPU,” he explained.
Betty said that from the data collected until 12:00 WIB, 99.89 percent of people whose data was coklit via the e-coklit application reached 99.89 percent. According to the data, for the province of DKI Jakarta, 8,315,669 election data have already been verified.
“Of course, there are new voters, the election does not meet the requirements that are thenupdate friends of the KPU DKI Jakarta. “We will wait until midnight for all of Indonesia,” he said.
Meanwhile, Fahmi Zikrillah revealed that the president will vote at TPS 06, Gambir village.
“There is already a potential TPS at TPS 06, Gambir village, usually at the LAN office,” he said.
