Coronavirus: Labor leader criticizes government response to pandemic – BBC News

New Labor leader Sir Keir Starmer has used his prime minister’s questions to criticize the government’s response to the pandemic. He said he failed to deliver coronavirus tests or provide sufficient staff protection for primary equipment.

The government continues to put a lot of pressure on the supply of protective equipment. The RAF plane, which is making supplies from Turkey, has arrived in the UK, but ministers have said there is a global shortage. More than 8,000 companies in the UK have responded to the demand for manufacturing products, but the government says all of these offers cannot be accepted.

Charities representing victims of domestic abuse, on the other hand, warn people that they cannot seek help because they cannot go through the blockade with their partner and control partner.

Huw Edwards presents BBC News with ten reports from political editor Laura Kuenssberg, Health editor Hugh Pym and correspondent Phil Mackie.
