“It’s such a nice, soothing and romantic song and people really like the chemistry between Salman and me. A lot of them say we go well together and it doesn’t look like we’re working together for the first time so I think that’s a nice compliment.”

She also said the song was shot when Khan was filming for antim, and the emotions of the song came very easily during filming. She’s on a cloud 9 with the love coming her way, not just for main chala but, his last film Telegu Akhanda with Nandmouri Balakrishna, which was released in December 2021 crossed Rs.100 globally in 11 days. “We’ve been watching southern movies for a very long time; southern movies dubbed in Hindi on Sony and Set Max for years. It’s not like we don’t know about them. For example, we’ve always known who Allu Arjun is and we know the massive love for cinema in the southern part of the country and how larger than life it is. But it only took a Baahubali or a Pushpa for people to officially recognize or accept him. I am grateful that the lines between the South and Bollywood are finally blurring. It’s a big Indian film industry today, which I think is absolutely amazing. I’m just grateful that we live in a time where, if you have talent and if you do a good job, it’s recognized. You can just walk through knowing the world will see your work. All who have talent get their due. Southern actors do shows and films in Bollywood; Like Samantha Ruth Prabhu did The Family Man 2. So I think it’s just a good time for us as actors.”

The actress added that she would love to work in both industries and that I would also love to see her more because she really deserves it!
