Kantara Hindi Box Office: A Regional Film To Challenge Bollywood Releases Doctor G & Code Name Tiranga?

Kantara Hindi ticket office: Kannada’s new film, Kantara, has become a resounding box office success. The film garnered rave reviews and positive word of mouth for the film also translated to the box office. After its success in the Kannada market, the makers are all ready to test the waters in the Hindi market. Last week, production house Hombale films announced that the Hindi version of the film starring Rishab Shetty will be released on October 14.

Kantara’s film holds the upper hand this week even though it’s a dubbed film. Tickets are priced at Rs 150 on weekends, which in turn should prove more advantageous as there have been so many positive rumors for the film.

The regional, which will hit over 800 screens across India, will compete with new Bollywood releases this week – Doctor G and Code Name Tiranga. However, the respective films of Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra do not seem to be a threat at the moment. Kannada blockbuster Kantara may well be leading the race against these two, a trade report suggests.
