‘Stranger Things’ season 4 photos tease ‘massive’ plot twist


New photo series for Strange things Season 4 points to dark twists and turns in the coming season and fans are scared. Last week, a fan account posted what appear to be real photos of the cast and crew filming new scenes in a graveyard. If they’re genuine, it looks like the people of Hawkins will be in for a bit of mourning when Season 4 premieres on Netflix.

Strange things Season 4 is filming, and fans are in desperate need of information about the Netflix original series. Many have delved into every detail of these set photos, assuming they are real and looking for every bit of meaning contained within. Some have already developed new fan theories about which characters might die or why the characters might congregate at Hawkins Cemetery otherwise. So far, Netflix and the show’s creators have not commented on the alleged leaks.

“Oh my God. I have no doubts Steve is going to die,” one fan tweeted. Another wrote: “I think maybe Hopper’s fake funeral or Steve’s, Jonathan’s or Mike’s (oh my god no, forget that).” A third person wrote: “I think Joyce is going to die because Lonnie has been confirmed to be in season 4 and he’s only been in one season to attend a funeral.”

As intense as Strange things That is, many fans noted that they have yet to endure the death of a beloved main character – with the alleged exception of Sheriff Jim Hopper (David Harbor), who disappeared at the end of season 3 but could return in the new episode. The official teasers released by Netflix already seem to show him in action again.

Whether the characters actually mourn the actual loss of a friend or not, there’s no doubt that Strange things Season 4 is going to take on a darker tone. Last year stunt coordinator Hiro Koda told our sister site, ComicBook.com that the new season is “darker. It’s gonna be epic. There are a lot of good surprises and all your favorite people are in it.”

“It’s going to be so good,” Koda continued. “It’s so epic. I’ve been able to read almost eight scripts now, so it’s pretty awesome. I don’t know how many we’re going to have.”

Unfortunately, Strange things is one of many shows delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. It looks like work on the series is underway again at full capacity, but there is no release date for season 4 yet. The first three seasons are now streaming on Netflix.
