Rescues & Roses dog fashion show to benefit the Animal Care Society

The NuLu Market Square courtyard will transform into a runway this Sunday for the 3rd annual Rescues and Roses Fashion Show. This year, the event benefits the local nonprofit Animal Care Society. According to shelter manager Savannah Brown, the organization is a no-kill animal shelter that has grown significantly since its inception. Meet Slime, the 8-month-old adoptable dog. “We started 40 years ago as a very small local family-owned rescue,” Brown said. “We became something big and incredible.” Rescues and Roses will feature models paired with a dog the shelter rescued.
