Christopher John White Dress was born on December 14, 1978 in Pine Ridge, South Dakota to Marty Roan Eagle and Delilah White Dress. Christopher made his journey to the spirit world on July 14, 2024 at Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, South Dakota. Christopher is survived by his mother, Delilah White Dress of Pine Ridge, South Dakota; his sister, Jessie Sutton of Denver, Colorado; his brother, Edward Two Hawk of Rapid City, South Dakota; his uncle, Chili White Dress of Cheyenne Creek-Pine Ridge, South Dakota; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Marty Roan Eagle; his uncle, Richard Walking, Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Silas White Dress and Katie Walking; and his paternal grandparents, Norton Roan Eagle and Annie Mae Loaferjoe.

The pallbearers are Sam Nelson, Alfred Catches, Moses Catches, Beto Rodriguez, Jr., Jerry Bear Shield and Marina Bores A Hole.

An all-night vigil service for Christopher White Dress will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, July 22, at Joyner Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.

Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, at Joyner Hall in Pine Ridge.

Graveside services will be held at the White Dress Family Cemetery in Cheyenne Creek, Pine Ridge, with Pastor Dan Johnson and Kate Kindle officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sioux Funeral Home in Pine Ridge, SD.
