Narendra Modi: PM Modi holds talks with Prof Sarasu
New Delhi, March 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday spoke to Prof TN Sarasu, BJP's Lok Sabha candidate from Kerala's Alathur constituency, over telephone and inquired about his poll preparations and the electoral campaign in the run-up to the 2024 parliamentary elections.
In the audio clip that went viral, Prof Sarasu told PM Modi that she was conveying the messages of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' and 'Modi ki Guarantee' to woo the electorate.
Asked by Prime Minister Modi about the difficulties she faced during her academic tenure, Prof Sarasu explained how people affiliated with the Left had tried to “intimidate and intimidate” her as she undertook a series of reforms to streamline the functioning of the university.
Notably, TN Sarasu worked at Victoria Government College in Pallakad for almost three decades and retired as principal a few years ago.
However, his retirement received media attention, not because of a glorious end to his career, but because of the harassment allegedly carried out by the Students' Federation of India (SFI), the student wing of the Communist Party of India (CPI-M). .

By addressing Prime Minister Modi, TN Sarasu compounded the problem of widespread corruption in Kerala's cooperative banks, allegedly ruled by CPI-M leaders.
She informed the Prime Minister about the miserable plight of poor citizens who were struggling to earn a living as their money had been looted by powerful men with connections in the state administration.
Prime Minister Modi promised strict action against all accused in the Kerala Cooperative Banks scam and also said that all those with influence will be made to pay for the injustices.
“As ED seizes the properties of these accused, it will be ensured that those which rightfully belong to the people are returned to them,” PM Modi told Sarasu.
She also briefed the Prime Minister on her efforts to bring people to the election booths and encourage them to exercise their franchise.
“Kerala is proud of you. I am confident that the people of Alathur will choose you to represent them in Parliament,” PM Modi remarked in the final note.
