JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Chairman of the Jokowi Volunteer Presidential Front (Bara JP) Willem Frans Ansanay said that his organization received a mandate from the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, to support the government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka for two terms.
This is one of the outcomes of the DPP II plenary session. Just JP which was held at Park Hotel Cawang, Cawang, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Saturday (23/5/2025).
“So, Pak Jokowi gave instructions to Bara JP to support him Prabowo-Gibran that’s two periods. “So we are still monitoring it,” said Frans, met after the Bara JP II plenary session on Saturday.
Frans emphasized that until now Bara JP has never received instructions from Jokowi to only support Gibran without Prabowo.

“We have not received any such direction. His direction until today is to support Prabowo-Gibran for two terms,” he stressed.
According to Frans, Bara JP will also correct various opinions deemed contrary to the meaning of this support.
“If there are interests or political opinions that are at odds with the government, it is our duty to sort things out. Just as ordered by Pak Jokowi as Bara JP supervisor,” he said.

In addition to discussing support for the Prabowo-Gibran government, Bara JP Plenary II also evaluated the organization’s work program for almost a year of management.
Frans said assessments were carried out on program implementation and organizational consolidation from central to regional level.
During the session, Bara JP also discussed domestic political developments, including various criticisms and issues directed at Jokowi after he is no longer president.
According to Frans, Bara JP believed that Jokowi’s leadership during the two periods had a real impact on society.
“We conclude that what Pak Jokowi did was felt by the people of our nation, the Indonesian nation,” he said.

Bara JP also said that he continues to support various Prabowo-Gibran government programs, such as the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program, red and white cooperatives, and popular schools.
Frans believes that the various criticisms leveled against these programs will not change his organization’s attitude to continue supporting the current government.
“Our attitude remains united, we will even be more active in socializing what President Prabowo and Mas Gibran are doing,” he said.
