Previously, Golkar General Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia spoke about the popular viral song “My Little Bolu Ketan” which contains the lyrics of MBG (Mas Bahlil Handsome).
Bahlil admitted that he was curious and wanted to invite songwriters. This was revealed in a video by the Special Presidential Envoy for the Development of Young Generation and Arts Workers, Raffi Ahmad.
“I ask for help if I invite the person concerned. I will invite them to chat and eat because I am also curious,” said Bahlil, quoted from Raffi’s Instagram account on Saturday (30/5/2026).
Bahlil admitted that he appreciated the creativity of netizens and the songs related to it. According to him, the lyrics of the song were created naturally.
“I don’t know it myself, and it’s very natural, and I’m curious who did this. So if I can, Fi (Raffi) can find it, I really want to meet Fi. But I respect people’s creativity, young people today are friends,” he said.
However, Bahlil reminded that creativity should not contain the problems of SARA.
“I have only one suggestion: in the era of democracy, social media is important, but if it is allowed, it can also be used in a measured way. For example, do not include SARA, SARA is not allowed, for this reason it will trigger our solidarity among the children of the nation, so creativity must be respected provided that it is in a good and correct framework,” he said.
According to Bahlil, it is a risk for a public official to receive criticism and comments, even through songs.
