President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. During the call in which Pashinyan congratulated President Erdogan on the past Eid al-Adha, the process of normalization of relations between the two countries and regional issues were discussed. Erdogan said the process continues with steps to initiate direct trade exchanges, stressing that Turkey will always support steps taken for peace and stability in the region.

The main focus of the diplomatic contact between the two leaders was greetings for the past Eid al-Adha and steps to normalize relations between Turkey and Armenia.
