Men’s tennis places six on the Patriot League’s academic honor roll
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have maintained a minimum 3.20 GPA during the spring semester while participating in one of the Patriot League’s winter or spring championships. Bucknell recorded a record 569 student-athletes for a total of 3,900 awards. The second-highest total was Lafayette’s 472. In all 27 varsity sports, Bison student-athletes averaged a GPA of 3.52 in the spring 2026 semester.
Of the men’s tennis team’s six Honor Roll members, four also made the Bucknell Dean’s List with a GPA of 3.50 or better, led by a perfect 4.0 from two-time Patriot Player of the Year Amar Tahirovic. Earlier this spring, Tahirovic became the first Bucknell men’s tennis player to repeat as Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and he was joined by Adam Stavrakas on the Academic All-Patriot League team. In addition, Oscar Bain Moreno de Vega And Will Robinson were both named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
