Strong earthquake shakes buildings in Dubrovnik – magnitude 5.7

A strong earthquake hit Dubrovnik this evening. According to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center, the epicenter was in neighboring Bosnia and Herzegovina at a depth of only 5 km and a magnitude of 5.7!

Buildings literally shook when the earthquake shook Dubrovnik, with reports of shelves falling off walls and paintings falling to the floor.
