Another earthquake rocked Dhaka, Narsingdi and neighboring areas this afternoon, just days after three consecutive earthquakes.

The 3.6-magnitude quake occurred at 4:15 p.m., said Rubeet Kabir, acting officer at the Earthquake Monitoring Center of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

He added that the epicenter of the earthquake was in Gorachal in Narshingdi, 28 km northeast of the BMD Seismic Center in Agargaon in Dhaka.

With this, four earthquakes were felt by the people of Narsingdi.

Earlier on November 22, a mild earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was felt seven and a half hours after an earthquake was recorded in Palash upazila in Narsingdi on the same morning.

On November 21, 10 people were killed in a strong earthquake that shook several parts of the country, including Dhaka.
