Beaver County reported 30 additional COVID-19 cases this week
Pennsylvania reported that there were far fewer cases of coronavirus in the week ending Sunday, with 3,778 new cases added. This is a 10.8% reduction from the previous week’s aggregate of 4,234 new cases of the virus that causes COVID-19.
Pennsylvania ranks 33rd among the fastest-spreading states of the coronavirus per capita, according to USA TODAY network analysis of Johns Hopkins University data. Last week, cases of coronavirus in the United States decreased by 9.9% from the previous week, and 195,963 cases were reported. With 3.85% of the country’s population, Pennsylvania had 1.93% of the country’s case last week. Nationwide, 22 states had more cases in the most recent week than in the previous week.
Beaver County reported 30 cases and one death last week. A week ago, 47 cases and 7 deaths were reported. Through the pandemic, 40,090 cases and 732 deaths have been reported.
Allegheny County reported 361 cases and 9 deaths last week. A week ago, it reported 483 cases and 12 deaths. Through the pandemic, 263,300 cases and 3,289 deaths have been reported.
Throughout Pennsylvania, cases decreased in 43 counties, the most in Allegheny County, from 483 to 361 a week ago. In Philadelphia County, there are 562 to 498 cases. In Berks County, there were 114 to 67 cases.

Pennsylvania ranks 13th in the state in terms of the proportion of people who have been vaccinated at least once, with 84.1% of the population being vaccinated at least partially.
