Workers in Oneida Taco Bell, Madison County Issue Exposure Warning After Positive Test for Hepatitis A
Wampsville, NY-Madison County Department of Health has issued a warning that Taco Bell’s customer in Oneida has been exposed to hepatitis A.
The virus-infected employees worked at a restaurant at 1038 Glenwood Ave. for seven shifts from June 23 to July 3.
This is the second Hepatitis A advisory associated with Elia Taco Bell in the last few days. A similar Oneida County Health Authority Warns Earlier this week about a Taco Bell employee in Rome.
A spokesperson for Madison County said the two affected individuals are two different employees, but the case is related. No employee has been identified.
Customers who dine at a restaurant in the city of Oneida on the four days of June 26, June 30, July 1 and July 3 receive a vaccine to prevent the spread of viruses through contaminated food and water. You can get a vaccination. Through close personal contact with the infected.
The hepatitis A vaccine is effective in preventing symptomatic infections if given within 2 weeks of exposure.

Taco Bell said in a statement released Thursday afternoon that the franchisee immediately contacted Taco Bell and health officials after learning that the employee had the virus. According to a statement, the employee has not returned to work.

- June 25 – 11am to 6:30pm

- July 1 to 11:00 to 19:00 (vaccination required by July 15)
- From July 3 to 6:00 to 11:00 (vaccination required by July 17)
