Colorado Springs, Colorado (KKTV) – March is Colorectal Cancer Month. A new report from the American Cancer Society (ACS) shows that colorectal cancer is on the rise among young adults, with cases being detected at more advanced stages. I am discussing with experts what is being done to combat this disease and how preventative measures can be taken. You may have seen the 11 News at Noon interview.
“The number of people who get colon cancer at a young age. The stage is an even later stage of the disease that is actually very overwhelming and something we are definitely trying to address.
