San Francisco Public Health Director Dr. Grant Colfax resigns
According to the Department of Public Health, residential treatment admissions for substance use increased by 35% last year, and methadone starts and buprenorphine prescriptions increased by 39% and 52%, respectively, in 2024 compared to 2023.
