3. Stage 2

At this stage, the tumor is about 2 centimeters and affects 1 to 3 nearby lymph nodes. In some cases, the tumor may be 2 to 5 centimeters in size without affecting the lymph nodes.

4. Stage 3

Cancer has spread to different axillary lymph nodes, and tumors vary in size. In other cases, the tumor is 5 cm or more in size, affecting 1 to 3 axillary lymph nodes.

5. Stage 4

This is a serious stage in which the cancer has spread properly and may also affect distant organs such as the liver, lungs, and brain. It can also harm your bones.

It is recommended that all women need at least one mammography to diagnose the condition at an early stage.
