A long-term care center in Tama, Washington, is experiencing COVID-19.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has announced that two more long-term care centers are working to reduce the incidence of COVID-19 between residents and staff. She did not name the center, but said that one was in Tama County and the other was in Washington County. According to Sara Iseta, deputy director of the Iowa State Department of Health, the latest guidance from the state directs facilities to use eye protection and face masks whenever staff is with residents. .
