Michigan Medicine tightens visitor restrictions as hospitalizations continue to increase
Anaver, Michigan-The medical system seeks to minimize the spread of COVID-19, so adult patient visitors to Michigan State Hospital are not allowed unless medically required.

“COVID-19 infection rates continue to rise in the community. Our top priority is patient and staff safety, and this additional step needs to be taken to minimize the spread of the disease. “Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Epidemiology of Michigan Medicine, Dr. Larain Washer, said in a news release.

The latest visitor restrictions include not allowing visitors with adult emergency department patients, in addition to the previously announced restrictions on the medical system.
