“This was an absolute game changer for me,” Ross said. “It worked out because I left town because I wanted to protect me and my family, and wanted to keep my promises.

“I can see if patients have dyspnea and if they are out of air. I know if they are worried,” said Tamler.
But he said there was a limit.

Coronavirus lifts telemedicine restrictions, and all specialists across the country are examining patients this way. Tamler said he expects the wave of telemedicine to continue after the outbreak has ended.
“In the long run, as people get used to accessing video, they will demand it because it is much more convenient for them,” he said.
