Scientists create hallucinatory psychedelics that can fight depression and PTSD — RT World News
Scientists in California have created a non-hallucinogen version of the psychedelic drug Ibogaine, which they say can treat multiple illnesses from depression, addiction, mental illness to PTSD.
A new molecule named tabernanthalog or TBG is a synthetic analog of ibogaine that maintains all reported therapeutic effects without side effects such as hallucinations or cardiotoxicity.
Anecdotal evidence suggests that ibogaine can reduce drug cravings and prevent recurrence, but for safety reasons, given the length of time required and the amount of patient supervision, psychotropic drugs Existing research is often cumbersome and complex.
